Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: 20 August 2026

This Acceptable Use Policy ("Policy") applies to everyone who uses the Saturn SQL service ("Service") provided by Panda Capital Oy Ab (Finnish business ID 3297809-7) ("we", "us"), including every user in your organisation and anything you build against our API. It forms part of our Terms & Conditions.

1. Systems you connect

You may only connect a database, warehouse, or third-party account that you own or are authorised by its owner to access, using credentials you are permitted to use. You are responsible for those credentials and for everything done through them. You must not use the Service to reach, probe, or scan any system you are not authorised to access.

2. Prohibited use

You must not use the Service to:

  • break the law, or infringe the rights of others;
  • gain or attempt to gain unauthorised access to any system, account, or data;
  • attack, disrupt, or degrade any system, whether ours or a third party's;
  • handle malware, or content that is unlawful or harmful;
  • send unsolicited bulk or commercial messages, including via scheduled exports;
  • resell or provide the Service to others as your own product, unless we agree in writing.

3. Fair use

The Service runs on shared infrastructure. You must not circumvent the limits of your plan, run automation designed to exhaust shared resources, or use the Service as a general-purpose proxy or tunnel. Where usage is degrading the Service for others, we may apply rate limits to the account concerned and will tell you why.

4. Monitoring

We do not routinely monitor the content of your queries or their results. We act on reports of abuse and on operational signals such as resource use and error rates, and access content only where necessary to investigate a specific violation or where the law requires it. Our Privacy Policy describes what we log.

5. Enforcement

For minor or accidental breaches we will normally contact you first and give you a reasonable opportunity to put things right. For serious breaches, such as unauthorised access to other systems, attacks launched through the Service, or unlawful content, we may suspend an account, connection, or scheduled export immediately and tell you afterwards. Repeated or uncured breaches may lead to termination under the Terms.

6. Reports and changes

To report a breach of this Policy or a security vulnerability, use the contact form on our help page. We will not pursue anyone who reports a genuine security finding in good faith without accessing other people's data. We may update this Policy by posting a revised version with a new date; continued use of the Service after that constitutes acceptance.
