SeekWell passed its July 31, 2026 end of life and has now been taken down completely. As of August 14, 2026, seekwell.io returns a bare 404 with no farewell notice or redirect, the documentation subdomain no longer responds, and the app itself no longer loads. ThoughtSpot said remaining customer data would be deleted within 30 days of shutdown, which puts that window around August 30, 2026. If you have not exported your queries yet, treat them as gone.

What is happening to SeekWell?
ThoughtSpot acquired SeekWell in 2021 and sunset the standalone product. SeekWell ran normally until July 31, 2026, then was retired. Scheduled queries and automated alerts stopped, the product became inaccessible, and ThoughtSpot said all remaining customer data would be deleted within 30 days. ThoughtSpot pointed customers at ThoughtSpot Sync, which is an enterprise product rather than a like-for-like self-serve replacement. Since then the public site has been taken down entirely.
What happened, and when
- Up to July 31, 2026: SeekWell ran normally while ThoughtSpot advised customers to export their work.
- July 31, 2026: SeekWell reached end of life. Scheduled queries stopped running, alerts ceased, and the product became inaccessible.
- By around August 30, 2026: the end of the 30-day window in which ThoughtSpot said all remaining SeekWell customer data would be deleted.
- August 2026: SeekWell went offline entirely. seekwell.io returns a plain 404 error page with no shutdown notice, no export instructions and no redirect to ThoughtSpot; the docs subdomain does not respond; and the app no longer loads.
That last point is worth dwelling on if you are choosing where to move next. Nothing was left behind for stragglers, not even a static page explaining where the product went. A customer who missed the emails and went looking for their data in August found an error page and nothing else.
What to do before the deadline
Move sooner rather than later, scheduled syncs silently stop the moment the product goes offline. Work through this checklist:
- Copy out every SQL query you want to keep. SeekWell stores your SQL, so copy each query into a .sql file or your new tool before access ends.
- Document each schedule and destination. Note what runs when, and where results go (which Google Sheet, Slack channel, or Salesforce object), so you can rebuild it.
- Record your database connections. Save the host, port, database name, and username for each connection (credentials do not transfer between tools).
