What is happening to SeekWell?
ThoughtSpot acquired SeekWell in 2021 and has decided to sunset the standalone product. SeekWell will run normally until July 31, 2026, then be retired. After that date you can no longer access the product, scheduled queries and automated alerts stop, and ThoughtSpot deletes all remaining customer data within 30 days. ThoughtSpot recommends moving to ThoughtSpot Sync, though that is an enterprise product rather than a like-for-like self-serve replacement.

What to do before the deadline
Move sooner rather than later, scheduled syncs silently stop the moment the product goes offline. Work through this checklist:
- Copy out every SQL query you want to keep. SeekWell stores your SQL, so copy each query into a .sql file or your new tool before access ends.
- Document each schedule and destination. Note what runs when, and where results go (which Google Sheet, Slack channel, or Salesforce object), so you can rebuild it.
- Record your database connections. Save the host, port, database name, and username for each connection (credentials do not transfer between tools).
